The whole group of Redang has been declare marine park by the fisheries department which has 3000 species of fish,1000 species of bivalves and 500 species of reef building coral,best time to visit Mac to October.

Redang group of island consist of nine island:pulau lima,pulau paku besar,pulau paku kecil,pulau kerengga besar & kecil,pulau ekor tebu,pulau ling,pulau pinang and pulau redang itself whish is the largest.

Permitted activities:
underwater photography/swimming/observation and appreciation of aquatic flora and fauna/scuba diving and snorkelling. 

Prohibited activities:
water skiing,speed boat racing and jet ski/destroying,removing or collecting any coral and other aquatic life/vandalizing any structure of object/ancoring of boats over the coral area/carrying and using weapons that can endanger or kill aquatic life/fishingin the park area/discharging pollutant and rubbish.
